Quint Studer is a lifelong student and teacher of leadership. He is the author of many books, serves on numerous healthcare boards, and is a frequent speaker, workshop facilitator, and mentor to individuals and organizations. In 2021, he released The Calling: Why Healthcare Is So Special. His new book, Rewiring Excellence: Hardwired to Rewired, provides tools and techniques that help employees and physicians experience joy in their work.
Recently, Quint founded Healthcare Plus Solutions Group with longtime colleague Dan Collard. HPSG specializes in helping healthcare organizations diagnose and treat their most urgent pain points to achieve and sustain results.
Katherine Meese, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Services Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also serves as the director of wellness research in the UAB Medicine Office of Wellness, and director for the Center for Healthcare Management and Leadership. She earned her PhD in health services administration with a specialization in strategic management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and she joined the faculty in 2020.
