Life is full of twists and turns.
The path in life that you want and desire doesn't always turn out the way you'd hoped.
This doesn't mean that your purpose in life has failed... in fact, the true purpose might be revealed.
Cornell Thomas is a great example. He was on the path to play professional basketball when an injury derailed that opportunity indefinitely. Now, his purpose is to help other people change their lives for the better through a variety of different venues.
How can you be "OK" with a change in direction, especially if you really had your heart set on something else? It will take time, for sure, but you cannot live in the past or your future will be stuck.
When you're constantly grieving the opportunity being taken from you, you're missing all the other opportunities available to you.
What if you're still trying to find your purpose?
Don't force it, but don't expect it to just come to you without any work or searching. You should always be trying to learn something new, something different. Don't be afraid to fail, but also make sure you're being kind to yourself.
Everything happens for a reason... you may not immediately know why, but you have to trust in it.
In this segment, Cornell joins Andrea and Lisa to share his experience with finding purpose in life, as well as ways you can adjust, adapt and find your own true path.
