How many diets do you think you've been on in your life? Five? 10? 50?
Chances are, more failed than worked.
If you're still struggling with losing weight, eating right and generally feeling healthy, you might want to consider an "anti-diet" instead.
Jennipher Walters and Erin Whitehead join Andrea and Lisa to share what this anti-diet concept is, and how you can become a Fit Bottomed Girl.
For instance, both Jennipher and Erin believe that "diet" is truly a four-letter word.
Getting healthy should not be about constantly counting calories or depriving yourself, but rather finding the healthy things that you really love and embracing them. Hate to run? Don't do it. Love chocolate? Find the right balance. Embrace what you love to do and love to eat.
In their book, The Fit Bottomed Girls Anti-Diet, Jennipher and Erin break up the chapters into core principles and then short segments on how to achieve those principles. They tell you exactly how to incorporate small changes which eventually add up to BIG changes in the long run.
For example, one segment involves "breaking up with your scale."
Many women have a love-hate relationship with the scale.
That number can determine your mood and outlook the rest of the day, whether good or bad. Ultimately, however, all it does is make you miserable.
The "fix" is to hide your scale (put it in a closet, under the bed). Then, write yourself a note that says, "I'm more than a number on the scale" and explain in detail why that is important.
When you're tempted to weigh yourself, bring that note out to remind yourself.
Join Jennipher and Erin to learn more helpful tips on getting healthy, feeling great and becoming a fit bottomed girl.
