Linda has enjoyed a broad career spanning from Peace Corps Nurse to Fortune 500 Corporation Board Room. For the past 25 years, she has been involved in development of the Post-acute Long term Care Hospital and Rehab Hospital Continuum of Care, serving in Chief Executive Officer or Vice President roles. In 2020, she joined the leadership team of a brand new 114-bed inpatient state of the science rehabilitation hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Linda developed the Quality, Safety and Risk Management functions for the new hospital, and provides oversight of the Care Coordination function with a focus on safe patient discharge and handoff to community partners. 


As a risk management professional with the added benefit of actual experience in the transfer process, Nancy has seen the challenges of hospital transfers from both a professional and personal perspective. A member of the healthcare enterprise risk team at RCM&D, a Baltimore-based insurance advisory firm, she provides risk consulting services in acute care, aging services and outpatient settings. Nancy is a member both the Maryland-District of Columbia and Virginia ASHRM chapters and the Loudoun County (Virginia) Medical Reserve Corps. Additionally, Nancy is an active ASHRM member, having served on many committees and contributing to several ASHRM publications. She currently serves on ASHRM’s Content Committee and Forum News Task Force.
