Love Your Way To A Cancer-Free Prostate

"Good Lovin'," "Love Me Tender," "Love Me Do" (the Rascals, Elvis, the Beatles): Those classic songs of love and desire might steam up your glasses and put a smile on your face, but we bet you never thought of them as anthems for good health! The verdict is in - a new study that tracked the lovin' and lives of more than 31,000 men since the early 1990s confirms that sex helps prevent prostate cancer!

Researchers, reporting their findings at the American Urological Association 2015 Annual Meeting, found that for every age and stage, guys who ejaculate more have a significantly lower risk of developing prostate cancer (it was 20 percent lower in men who ejaculated at least 21 times a month than in men who ejaculated four to seven times a month). And it is the only way docs know for sure to reduce the risk of early stage, contained prostate cancer - although regular physical activity and a nutritious diet help, too!

The researchers stress that there's no reason to focus on the absolute number of ejaculations, but instead to understand that a healthy, safe sex life is an important contributor to overall health and to a healthy prostate. This is just one more significant benefit that scientists have found is associated with an active sex life: Research indicates that consistent sexual activity improves immune function, lowers blood pressure, increases happiness and (despite the pre-fight abstinence practiced by welterweight champ Manny Pacquiao and other boxers) tunes up your overall physical health.
