TOC is a condition in which the space between the collarbone and first rib are compressed causing a variety of symptoms including shoulder and neck pain as well as numbness in the fingers. TOC may be the result of an anatomical irregularity, physical trauma (such as a car accident), pregnancy, or repetitive injuries from sports or work. The condition affects people of all ages and can be serious if left untreated.
