Dr. Visa earned her medical degree at Kilpauk Medical College in her hometown of Chennai, India. She completed her post-graduate work in the United Kingdom, and then went on to complete her internship and residency at Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. During her geriatric rotation, she knew that her professional focus was meant to be in the care of older patients.
Dr. Visa's professional interests span geriatric concerns and issues including memory disorders, medication and polypharmacy assessments, gait and balance assessments, frailty, and future planning approaches for her patients.
Visalakshi Srinivasan, MD
Board-certified in geriatrics and internal medicine, Dr. Srinivasan – also known as Dr. Visa – serves as the director of both the Aging Services program and the Memory Disorders Clinic at Health First.
