Metabolic Syndrome: Black Plague of the 21st Century

Metabolic syndrome: the "black plague" of the 21st century.
A whopping one-third of Americans suffer from metabolic syndrome, and other one-third are headed in that direction.

It's what Dr. Jonny Bowden calls the "black plague of the 21st century."

Metabolic syndrome symptoms include high blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist, and abnormal cholesterol levels. These symptoms can arise from a poor diet and lack of exercise, but they can also result from stress and trauma. High levels of stress can cause huge changes in your physiology, even if they have nothing to do with food.

Listen in as Dr. Bowden joins Dr. Susanne to share more about the metabolic meltdown we're experiencing, as well as the top supplements he recommends for optimal health (omega-3, vitamin D, magnesium, probiotics, and citrus bergamot).
