Preparing for the holidays is always easier said than done. With all of the cooking, holiday parties, gifts and cards, you probably feel like you don't have enough time to get it done.
When it comes down to it, holiday shopping can be more stressful than fun.
So, how can you endure the long lines, long lists and the time crunch?
A good tip: try to avoid malls and high traffic stores. Shopping locally is a viable lower-stress alternative. You are supporting independent businesses, and the stores generally have unique and memorable items that can make your gift that much more special.
