It's been a year since my hip replacement surgery, and as a runner, I really miss it. I want to try to jog again. Is this wise?

Even though you may feel anxious about returning to the physical lifestyle that you were used to prior to your surgery, it may be a while before you actually get there, if at all. It can be frustrating, but waiting a bit longer can ensure no other injuries occur that can set you back even further.

It's also very wise to speak to your doctor before starting or returning to any activity.

Are there health benefits of becoming a vegetarian?

People decide to become a vegetarian for many different reasons. Researchers have shown that going on a vegetarian diet can reduce heart disease and some cancers.

What causes irregularity of a women's menstrual cycle?

There can actually be many different reasons that will cause an irregular cycle. The most common cause of an irregular period is pregnancy. However, if you're not pregnant, there can be other reasons why your periods are irregular. These include excessive weight loss or gain, eating disorders, increased exercise, emotional stress, travel, certain medications, hormonal imbalances, and issues with your pelvic organs.

You should definitely speak to your doctor if you're experiencing irregular periods.
