Breastfeeding Myths & Facts

What are some of the myths surrounding breastfeeding?
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), if all children were breastfed within an hour of birth, and given only breast milk for the first six months, and continued breastfeeding up until the age of two, up to 800,000 children's lives would be save annually.

Dia Michels, author of Milk, Money & Madness: The Culture and Politics of Breastfeeding and Breastfeeding Facts for Fathers, joins Dr. Susanne to explain why she's such an advocate for breastfeeding, why "breast is best" for both babies and mothers, and myths that keep women from breastfeeding.
