Can I have a baby at 45 years old? What are the pros and cons?
It's important to know that there are pros and cons to becoming pregnant at any age. However, when you're in your 40s, these pros and cons may be different than someone in her 20s or 30s.
One of the biggest pros to having a baby later in life is that you're more likely to be financially secure than someone who's just started their career. You're also wiser. According to a study published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association, older moms were better educated in what to eat and feed their child than a young mom.
However, postponing pregnancy until you're in your 40s comes with some risks. For example, you may have a hard time getting pregnant. Another risk is the chance of having chromosomal problems, and the risk for a miscarriage is also higher.
What muscles do squats build?
Not only do squats help strengthen your glutes, they also work many other major muscle groups in your body, including your core, quads, hamstrings, and calves.
I do cardio all the time, but I feel like I don't see many results. Why is that?
This answer depends on what results you're expecting. Were you expecting to lose wight, build muscle, or tone your body?
If you're trying to build muscle or tone your body, cardio alone won't do that. You need to incorporate strength training.
However, if you're trying to lose weight, cardio can help track results faster (strength training can also help). You might start to see results after four to six weeks.
