If you're not used to eating healthy, it can be a challenge to shop for those types of foods, especially if you think healthy food is expensive.

In fact, according to a survey conducted by Prevention and Centrum, 53 percent of Americans said it was too expensive to eat a healthy, balanced diet.

However, that couldn't be farther from the truth. Many common healthy and inexpensive foods can be found right in the produce department of your grocery store.
