What causes anemia in women and how can I treat it?

Anemia is commonly caused by blood loss from mestruation. Heavy periods cause issues. It's caused by diet, strange diseases and infections. High level endurance training sometimes results in anemia.

Your bone marrow needs iron to create hemoglobin. Hemoglobin carries oxygen throughout your body.

Make some changes to your diet by cutting back on caffeine, increasing your protein and eating dark, leafy greens. You may need to take supplements. You have to know what kind of anemia you have and treat accordingly.

Can a woman get pregnant naturally at 46?

The chance of having a baby at 46 without intervention is less than one percent. This doesn't take fertility drugs into account. Your body will have fewer eggs and may present risks to yourself and the fetus after age 40. Speak with your doctor.

What alternative therapies can be used to treat migraines?

A migraine gives a strong pulsating sensation in part of the head or extreme throbbing all over the head. There's nausea, vomiting and light sensitivity. It can last hours to days. Acupuncture, biofeedback and cognitive behavioral therapy may help. Massage therapy has worked. There are supplements that can decrease the frequency.
