Have you ever been in a relationship where one of you was not a healthy weight? Addressing health issues related to eating, exercise and weight is challenging. Health concerns for one partner can cause tension when going out, making it tougher to maintain the relationship.

A mixed weight couple is one that has partners of inequal weight. Overweight women and fit men tend to have the greatest tension in a couple, particularly at meal time. Women may have a higher emotional cost to being overweight.

The problem comes down to common life goals. Do you want the same things? Do you have similar activity levels? Do you have similar meal ideas?
