Personal health challenges in her 20s, combined with a broken health care system motivated Dr. Taz Bahtia to pursue an alternative definition of health and healthy living.
Early in her medical practice, as a young resident, Dr. Taz began searching for answers to her own health issues.
Studying various systems of medicine, she found a wealth of information not yet taught in conventional medical schools, including the practice of Ayurveda. It led her to opening her now nationally recognized practice, Centre Spring, MD (formerly Atlanta Center for Holistic and Integrative Medicine).
Centre Spring realizes that being healthy, isn’t just one factor of your life; it is the culmination of your life. Your history, genes, relationships, lifestyle, nutrition, passion and community all combine to make you who you are.
One of the main focuses of Centre Spring is to give you the tools to deal with the stressors of life... work, career, family, finances. If you have these tools, you can effectively manage both the cause and the effect stress has on your life.
Listen in as Dr. Taz joins Dr. Susanne to share how she became involved in the practice of Ayurveda, as well as how it might help you reach a place of ultimate health and wellness.
