Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome are almost the same disease. Chronic fatigue syndrome patients have more dysfunction in the pituitary and is diagnosed based on symptoms. Fibromyalgia patients have more dysfunction in the hypothalamus and the disease is diagnosed from exams.
Both illnesses have genetic predisposition. A stressful event sets the disorders in motion. The organs aren’t secreting enough hormones.
Immune modulators are most successful in treating chronic fatigue syndrome. Low dose naltrexone, intravenous gamaglobulin, ozone, peptides and umbilical cord stem cells are all immune modulator treatments.
Infections are often the root of this syndrome. Thorough blood testing will help locate the source of the problem.
Listen as Dr. Kent Holtorf joins Dr. Susanne Bennett to discuss new treatments for chronic fatigue syndrome.
