If anyone in your family has food allergies, you know how difficult it can be to find healthy treats. Many of the popular choices contain nuts, gluten, or dairy.
The Fotovat family has long worked to provide healthy, nutritious snack options like their granola bars and soft baked cookies. All of the MadeGood products are made in a facility free from the most common allergens; peanut, tree nut, soy, dairy, egg, fish, shellfish, gluten, and sesame.
The company also sources their ingredients to adhere to industry standards for non-GMO, organic, vegan and gluten-free products in order to ensure the highest quality of ingredients.
Nima Fotovat joins host Andrea Donsky to share the inspiration behind the company's initiation and why the family is so passionate about company mission, culture, and the future of the planet.

Guest Bio:
Nima Fotovat is President at Riverside Natural Foods Ltd., which produces MadeGood Foods, GoodTo Go and soon, Cookie Pal, as well as private label products for leading retailers. After graduating from York University with a degree in business administration, Nima joined his father to successfully grow their family’s fruit-and-nut bar company.
After the family sold their shares of the company in 2012, Nima and his siblings made the decision to combine their expertise and launch a family-centric company that would take health food manufacturing to the next level: Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. Under the label MadeGood Foods, they produce organic, gluten-free and top-eight-allergen-free snacks that don’t just taste good, they do good.
Beyond their B Corp certification, Riverside Natural Foods is also a proud TRUE Zero Waste business with a silver rating (they divert a minimum of 90% of waste for reuse, recycling, composting and recovery for use in nature or the economy). Additionally, they support organic farmers and nonprofit organizations, like The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), Children’s Miracle Network and 1% for the Planet. - Length (mins): 29:20
