It’s Time We Finally Invest in Women’s Health Care

You know we're BIG into women's healthcare here. But not just from the patient's standpoint, we're talking Wall Street-style investments - they need to support our health too.

Dr. Jane van Dis is an expert in gender equity in the workplace. She established the Working Group on Gender in the Physician Workplace, a national network which amasses data on gender-based disparities in healthcare and solutions to these disparities, and she is currently Medical Adviser to three technology-based women's health start-up companies, as well as Co-Founder of OB Best Practice.

In this episode, she tells us about how she pivoted from being an OBCYN into tech investments, disrupting the healthcare industry, "manels," as well as racial, gender and economic inequities in healthcare.
