Deborah Stoll

Deborah Stoll is a writer, screenwriter, songwriter, journalist and animator. Her non-fiction books include Unvarnished (Harper Collins 2020) and Drop In (Harper Collins 2024). Her articles, essays and illustrations have appeared in The Economist, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, LA Weekly, Portland Mercury, and Punch Drink. Her songs have been licensed for shows like Extraordinary, Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, CSI Miami and Glee and the films For A Good Time, Call, Slanted, and Space Cadet, and her feature and television scripts have been recognized by Sundance, Slamdance and The Hollywood Screenwriters Contest.
