A New Way for the New Year for Women to Exercise
Jeffrey R. Stout, PhD in Exercise Physiology
Jeffrey R. Stout, Ph.D., holds the position of Pegasus Professor and is the Founding Director of the School of Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences within the College of Health Professions and Sciences at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Throughout more than 3 decades of teaching, he has mentored/co-mentored 45 doctoral students who are professors and industry leaders in exercise science and performance nutrition research. His research concentrates on body composition assessment, interventions in exercise and nutrition, and fatigue thresholds. Dr. Stout has coauthored over 340 peer-reviewed articles, 10 books, 14 book chapters, and has delivered more than 300 presentations. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Kinesiology (NAK), the American College of Sports Medicine (FACSM), the International Society of Sports Nutrition (FISSN), and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (FNSCA).
