George Yusuff, MS
George Yusuff is an Exercise Physiologist on the Sports Rehabilitation and Performance Team at HSS. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science at Adelphi University, where he also played Collegiate soccer. He then went on to pursue a Master's Degree at Adelphi University, where he worked as a Graduate Assistant, and was awarded the Adelphi University Dean's Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Graduate Exercise Science. He is also a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine and an English FA level 1 Soccer Coach.
George has experience conducting metabolic testing, cardiopulmonary exercise tests, fitness and performance assessments, and prescribing individualized training and exercise programs based on testing results. He has worked with a wide range of populations, including professional athletes to patients with special conditions, such as cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, and muscular skeletal conditions. In addition, he has a special interest in research, previously working as a research coordinator and CPET technician on multiple studies. He has a passion for helping athletes achieve their goals and to reach their optimal performance. He enjoys passing his knowledge on to individuals with any degree of exercise history as he believes exercise is vital for good health and longevity.
