How Young Blood May Cure Cancer

Transfusing cancer patients with blood from young, healthy individuals offers hope for a cure.
The Life Extension Foundation® has donated $800,000 to the South Florida Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplant Institute to fund a research project where activated immune cells from young people will be transfused into cancer patients. The objective is to achieve remission, complete response, or cure.

The delay in moving forward with this project is that not enough young people have come forward to donate their blood.
