The 411 on Omegas

From Omega-3 to Omega-7, fatty acids are so essential for your health and wellness.
Fats get a bad rap, but omega fatty acids are so important for your health and wellness.

Omega-3s, in particular, are essential for your brain, heart, and skin health, and prevent or mitigate things like memory loss, arthritis, depression, cancer, and hot flashes.

Many of the typical omega-3 supplements don't contain sufficient amounts of DHA and EPA. For the best sources, try to eat three or four servings a week of fatty fish like salmon, herring, and sardines ("oily" fish in general).

Omega-6, Omega-7 and Omega-9 are also very important for optimal health.

Listen in as Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum joins Andrea and Lisa to share more about omegas, as well as how you can best get them into your diet.
