Headaches? Visit Your Eye Doc First

If you're suffering from a headache, you may want to pay a visit to your eye doctor before reaching for the aspirin.

Headaches can be caused by a number of things, including injury, "brain freeze" from a eating ice cream too quickly, dehydration, drug or coffee withdrawal, chronic sinus problems, neurological reasons, high blood pressure, stroke, glaucoma, inflammation in the eye, brain tumor, and CO2 poisoning... just to name a few.

But, the number-one and number-two causes of head pain are tension and migraines. 

Once you understand how intimately your eyes are connected to your brain and nervous system, you may be able to head these headaches off at the pass.
