The Hawks’ all-time leader in career victories with a mark of 403-266, Martelli led Saint Joseph’s to a 28-8 record this season and the program’s second Atlantic 10 championship in the past three years. SJU made its 13th postseason appearance this year, earning an NCAA Tournament berth and reaching the round of 32 with a win over Cincinnati.
