Rethinking Health: 8 Predictive Biomarkers for Lifetime Health

Lab tests can help you improve your future health. Knowing the predictive biomarkers can guide your lifestyle.
Predictive biomarkers are tests that can help improve your health status. Lifestyle changes can bring about your best health.

Most of your quality of life today -- duration and how much suffering you will have -- is determined by the eight predictive biomarkers.

The 8 Predictive Biomarkers

  1. Hemoglobin A1C tests sugar and its conversion in your body. It should be less than five percent.
  2. High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (HSCRP) tests inflammation and repairability. It should be less than 0.5 to indicate that you can repair and are not in repair deficit.
  3. Homocysteine tests are conducted on plasma for levels of this amino acid. It is important for vascular health. It monitors detoxification so it is an all-cause morbidity and mortality marker. Value should be less than six.
  4. Lymphocyte response measures immune tolerance. You want a tolerant immune system. You want to be able to digest the foods you eat without immune burden.
  5. Urine pH after rest shows the acidity or alkalinity of your urine. It tests cellular magnesium. Healthy range is 6.5 to 7.5 after six to eight hours rest.
  6. Vitamin D test (25-HydroxyD) should range between 50 and 80. Vitamin D keeps your bones young and joints flexible. It also enables neural-hormonal regulation.
  7. Omega-3 index should be more than eight percent. This shows the amount of good fats your consuming.
  8. Urine test for damaged DNA (8-Oxo-Guanine) should be less than 25.This shows oxidative damage.
These tests can be impacted by changes to daily living.
