Kids have gone back to school, and the recent news surrounding super lice may have many parents concerned.
Nearly one million prescriptions are given out per year in an attempt to eradicate the head-scratching issue but are no longer effective. These mutated, chemical-resistant lice are popping up around the country.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it's estimated that six to 12 million infestations happen annually in the U.S. Usually, doctors will prescribe an OTC medication; but, drug-resistant lice have become a huge problem.
