Host of The Wizard of Eyes, Dr. Robert Abel, welcomes back Dr. Ravi Patel to discuss the benefits of KAMRA inlays.
The KAMRA inlay is new to the USA, but has been used with great success in Europe for years.
The device looks like a tiny camera lens, shaped like a ring with a hole in the middle. This tiny ring is implanted into one eye, right above the pupil, inside of the cornea.
The procedure itself is similar to LASIK, as it uses a laser to create a flap in the cornea.
Listen in to learn more about this procedure and if it could be right for you.
