As a teen, Cathy struggled with menstrual irregularities. By the time she was 17 she realized Western medicine did not have the answers and she turned to a mind-body-nutrition approach. All her problems resolved and has since dedicated her life to the practice of herbal medicine and natural healing approaches which allow the body to heal itself.

Cathy has just published two books, Stop Your Bitching...naturally, A Step By Step Guide to Balance Hormones and End PMS & Menstrual Cramps...naturally! as well as the companion guide, 30 Days of Tips to Stop Your Bitching...naturally! Both draw upon her success helping hundreds of women who have struggled with debilitating menstrual cycles and life-altering hormonal imbalance which can be successfully treated without drugs or artificial hormones.

Cathy earned a Master degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Emperors College of Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, CA, and a Bachelor's degrees in Business and Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. She holds a license in acupuncture and Chinese herbology in California and is certified as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Cathy is a mom of two daughters, an active contributor to the Huffington Post and founder of Pacific Herbs, a herbal wellness company located in Los Angeles, CA. She loves to lecture, blog and teach women and men about the benefits of Traditional Chinese medicine and herbal remedies.
