But did you know that vitamins and minerals are needed by your body in order to function in everyday life?
For example, Serotonin gets converted into melatonin; but in order to do so, your body needs tryptophan, an essential amino acid used in the structural or enzyme proteins. In order for tryptophan to do its job, it needs vitamin B6, vitamin C and zinc.
In order for these minerals and vitamins to work properly, they need to be constantly replenished; especially if you're not getting them in your diet.
