Gowrie HaydenFight 4U founder and head coach Gowrie Hayden is a Precision Nutrition Pro Coach and ACE certified Health Coach and Personal Trainer who has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years. Gowrie has been an athlete most of her life, holds additional certifications in kicking butt with TRX, boxing and kickboxing and has enjoyed working as a professional stunt fighter and teaching people how to fight for many years. As a personal trainer and group exercise instructor, she has had the privilege of working for Gold's Gym, Bally Total Fitness, Meridian and Extreme Boot Camp. But what she discovered over the years was that her greatest passion and enjoyment came from training women. That there was this incredible feeling of empowerment they got when they were learning how to fight. This moment where their faces lit up and she could tell they felt like they could take on the world. They felt strong and beautiful and confident. They were women, hear them roar.  So, she thought, how I can I help more women do more of this in their day to day lives, not just in a class?  The answer was simple – become a nutrition & lifestyle coach.

Her company was started with the burning desire to help women fight for themselves and make their own personal health & fitness goals a priority. To help change habits and change lives.  She spent a decade of her young adult life in and out of treatment centers for eating disorders and addiction. Her pursuit to have the “perfect” body nearly killed her. Creating a healthy relationship with food was an extremely difficult and life changing process for her. And being able to be kind to that body that stared back in the mirror was an even more challenging journey. She knows first-hand that none of this is easy. If it was, then everyone would look like the cover of a fitness magazine.  But if you can just take that first step towards being your own champion for change and make today your NOW day…the possibilities are endless.
