Remission Nutrition: How Diet and Lifestyle Can Help Prevent, Complement, or Manage Your Cancer

In this episode, we're talking more about oncology nutrition, so if you missed November's episode with Jess Higgins Kelley, make sure to check that out!

Curious how diet and lifestyle can help prevent, complement, or manage your cancer process? You’ve come to the right place. Dietary therapies have been used in medicine for over 5,000 years and should be a centerpiece in your care plan today. Nutrition and lifestyle modifications have been shown to impact all ten hallmarks of cancer. From decreasing the spread (metastasis) of cancer cells to promoting cancer cell death (apoptosis) to inhibiting growth factors - believe it or not, metabolic nutrition and lifestyle change can be cancer’s fiercest enemy.

Everyone has a unique genetic make-up and biological history, so the key is discovering YOUR personalized nutrition needs. Remission Nutrition uses various assessments including nutrigenomics and micronutrient testing, and experts in metabolic nutrition help you discover and integrate the most potent nutrients and therapeutic diet to match your bio-individual process. From getting you started with the basics of eating a healthy diet to the Nutrient Dense Ketogenic Diet (NDKD), therapeutic fasting, modified texture diets, tube feeding, digestive rehabilitation (GAPS, Low FODMAP), autoimmune focused dietary strategies (AIP), all plans are customized to the client. No change is too small, and compassionate consultants meet you where you are at, supporting and educating you along the way.?
