Caitlin Whyte (Host): Welcome to Right Beside You, a Reid Health podcast. I'm Caitlin Whyte. And today we're discussing some more of our Revive Spa Services. And we're joined again by our estheticians Diara Coates and Bailey Stuffel. So, Bailey start us off on this episode. Where is a good place to start for someone who has never used medical grade products or gone to a medical spa?

Bailey Stuffel (Guest): Everybody's a little different, we have different regimens we can get people set up on to target what their issues are and kind of go through what they're wanting to accomplish and kind of help set them up individually, personalized, I guess.

Host: Is there kind of like a consultation first or would I call in?

Bailey: You could call if you knew exactly what you're wanting to do. Otherwise we could do the skincare consultation and find out what you're wanting to have done.

Host: Okay. All right. So Diara, tell us about some of our specific services here. We'll start with CoolSculpting.

Diara Coates (Guest): So, CoolSculpting, it is a non-invasive fat reduction. So, what it does is it kills your fat cells that are the subcutaneous fat cells that cannot be lost through diet and exercise. So, it's an option for people that don't want to do surgery, but it's more of like a debulking process. So, it's great for people that just want to get back into their jeans that they can't really fit into anymore. And just feel like a little bit more comfortable in their skin.

Host: So, when we talk about a treatment like that, is that something I could come in just like on my lunch break or is it more serious than that? How do I get, what does that look like when I come in for CoolSculpting?

Diara: It's a little bit more extensive. So, I have everybody come in for a consultation. So, with that consultation, I would be able to look at the areas that you're wishing to treat and come up with a personalized package, with how many treatments it would take, and then what the cost would be. We just can't ever give anybody like a ballpark cost just because everybody is so different with their goal and where they're starting out at. So, the consultations are always the best way to go starting out. And then sometimes the services they can take a couple hours. I do sometimes have to go here for like three hours or so, but the more areas that you're wanting to treat, the longer that you would be there for this session.

Host: And I see that on your services, you also offer light therapy. So, Bailey, can you tell us more what that is?

Bailey: You can add light therapy on to pretty much any service that we offer in the spa. And it has the red light and the blue light, the red light is for anti-aging. The blue light is more for like acne, both of them together, help to stimulate new collagen and elasticity in the skin. Kills bacteria. Helps clear up acne. Over time, it can help with dark spots.

Host: Awesome. And Bailey, are there any other services that we haven't touched on in these first few episodes that you'd like to talk about or just for people listening like we said earlier, who haven't gone to a medical spa and maybe are hesitant or don't know how, why should they come in?

Bailey: I really like our Legend Pro. I think it's a really unique service that we offer. It has the radio-frequency and the microneedling, and you can use it on any area of the body, which is really nice. Some people think, you know, mainly they come in and it's just for your face, but you can use the Legend Pro on your arms and legs and all kinds of things.

Host: Awesome. And same question to you, Diara. Anything else you want to feature?

Diara: I would say if you're just starting out, you know, get that consultation, get set up with your own personalized skincare regimen and really sticking with the skincare regimen and the services that we put you on is where you will get your best results. Patience is definitely needed for it, just because it takes your skin a while to get acclimated to the products and start seeing results. But definitely woth it. We do have our 12 days of Christmas that we offer every, every December, we do this where it goes on for 12 days and we always have a service and a product on sale every single day. That's a really great time for people to come in and stock up for like gift certificates, presents. But then on the other months, throughout the year, we always offer a special and a product on sale too. So we always have something going on.

Host: Beautiful and wrap it up for us Diara how do I get an appointment? Can I walk in, do I have to call in, how do I get that first consultation set up?

Diara: Well, you could give us a call at our office. We also do offer a request an appointment, so you would just go online to Reid Health website, and then you would search for us. Super easy. Just click to request an appointment. You can put in your preferred way to be contacted. And then we would either email you or give you a call and then get you set up for whatever service that you were interested in.

Host: Wonderful. Well, again, sounds like a bunch of great services. I learned a lot, especially like I said, as a first timer myself got the Dermaplane, but not much else. If you're just as interested as I am, you can call 765-962-4872 to schedule your appointment today, that's 765-962-4872. Or check us out online at Reidhealth.org.
