Amanda graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics. During her undergraduate career she participated in NIH-funded research involving the regulation of female meiosis and understanding why the process of making eggs is inherently error prone in humans. After graduation, Amanda remained at Rutgers University employed as a senior laboratory technician continuing this research which culminated in several peer-reviewed publications. It is during this research experience Amanda gained many valuable skills and knowledge in cell culture and micromanipulation, specifically micro-injection, that are used in the embryology lab on a daily basis. Amanda then moved to the clinical setting with the goal to help couples struggling with infertility. She has been working in the lab at Reproductive Science Center of NJ since 2016.
