Joseph I. Krabich, M.D. (Guest): My philosophy of care has always been to provide the top notch treatment to children in my care. And it is the Shriners Hospital System which allows me to do this regardless of the ability to pay or any other circumstance.
Hello, my names is Dr. Joseph Ivan Krabich. I’m a pediatric orthopedic surgeon. I came to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Portland in 1993. I specialize in the spinal deformity, particularly scoliosis in young children. I further specialize in the limb deficiencies particularly the congenital type and also in bone tumors in children.
What people perhaps don’t know about me in the summer I bike and kayak and hike with my wife. I was looking for an opportunity to move to the United States to provide my expertise to children here and the Shriners Hospital for Children in Portland provided the perfect milieu for me to accomplish my goals providing excellent care to local children.
