Neil Teatsorth: Hi everyone. My name is Neil Teatsorth. I am the Chief Human Resource Officer for San Juan Regional Medical Center, and I'm here today to discuss benefits changes. It's open enrollment time once again. We're going to begin the 2026 open enrollment period on Tuesday, October 28th, and we're here to talk about what you need to know.

So before I go any further, I just want to give a tip of the hat to three members of our HR team who have been working very hard to bring you many changes that are going to enhance your benefits experience here at San Juan Regional. First one is Christina Canales. The second is Kathy Valdez. And a special hat tip to Lucy Yulibari, who in the 11th hour stepped into an interim leadership role to help our other two great professionals, to do all the heavy lifting work required to set up benefits changes, open enrollment, the benefits fair day, et cetera. So if you see these folks around campus or online, give them a shout out and a thanks for all the hard work they've done. So, here we go.

And we want to make sure you're informed and ready. So what's new this year? As has been the case in previous years, open enrollment this year will be a passive enrollment, which means most employees will automatically re-enroll in the current benefits that you elected previously. Now we do want you to engage in Workday and complete the open enrollment however, because especially, in association with two benefits, our healthcare FSA, the dependent care FSA or our health savings accounts, often called HSAs, you will need to log in and actively make those elections. So if you participate in those programs, you need to make sure not to just consider this a passive enrollment and actually get in there and make those changes. We're also excited to announce a few updates to our benefits lineup.

We are changing our medical plan administrator from web TPA to an organization called Allegiance, and we're very excited about the additional improved customer service that we believe we're going to gain by partnering with this organization. In association with working with them, we will be changing our network from Aetna to Cigna.

There's some changes associated with that relationship there as well. In the pharmacy space, our pharmacy plan administrator is also changing to an organization called Capital Rx. We're very excited about the prospects of a new onsite, retail pharmacy that we're building out in our lobby area where the Cafe La Ventana previously was in that region of the building.

Additionally, one of the changes that we're most excited about is our vision plan carrier is changing to VSP. They are by far, the market leader in this space, and we look at this change as integral to providing much better options to our team members who are outside of Farmington and in regions where our previous provider's network was very, very limited.

Our life and disability carrier is changing from Unum to the Hartford. And with that they're also taking on responsibility for leaves administration and they provide us also with a second EAP program that our caregivers can evaluate, in association with our primary EAP vendor, which is Jasper and Associates.

So it doubles down the opportunities to enlist help for typical family matters, individual matters, things that are troubling that you could use some counseling and help for. So we want you to join us at the benefits fair. This is taking place on Wednesday, November 5th in the Center for Workforce Excellence, where you can meet our benefits team and representatives from each of these carriers.

It's a great opportunity to ask questions, explore your options, and get personalized guidance. And we're also sending out an email which will have a link to our 2026 benefits guide, and that will also be available on our intranet site, as well as a recording of some informational sessions that we've led the week October 20th, that are available for playback so that you can hear all these details in much greater detail, from our benefits professionals. We strongly encourage you to read through the benefits guide before making any decisions, and again, consult with our benefits team for any assistance you might need.

And if you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out to the team. They're here to help you and they're really looking forward to doing a great job for you in this benefits change season. Thank you.
