Sandra Grunwaldt: Hello, my name is Sandi Grunwaldt and I am your wellbeing and Engagement Manager, and I am honored to share some new and positive initiatives with you today. Before we officially begin, I have a personal question for you. Have you ever had a challenging day? And out of the blue, a caregiver gives you a compliment or a shout out, either in private or maybe publicly in a meeting or on a safety huddle, and it literally allows you to take a breath.

Recharge, redirect your mindset towards a more hopeful, energized direction. It's the best, isn't it? At the same time, have you ever witnessed or personally experienced a coworker's above and beyond? Over the top? Simply incredible compassion for a patient. Or a team member or their genuine concern with something you're going through, And then you get busy and engaged in your work and home life and realize later on that you just forgot or were too busy to take the time, but should have thanked that person, given them a shout out.

This is very common in our busy hospital clinics, hospital daycare, and offices, and these are the reasons I'm excited to share some more information around our new Charge Health app. It's designed to create a more connected, grateful, and resilient healthcare culture by igniting connection among us. Joy in our busy work days and appreciation through sending Sparks.

Charge Health more specifically, is our new mobile app that builds workplace cultures of positivity and belonging by connecting our teams and each other. And helping us understand our why behind our work charge. Health is a game we can play daily to compliment and recognize our colleagues for being great team members.

It allows us to have some fun while saying Thank you for all the impactful work our coworkers do. You can actually watch a short video on our intranet that shows us how to use and play Charge Health. Our goal is to build a culture where everyone feels seen and appreciated, and Charge Health helps us do that.

Are you curious where and how you can get it? You can download the Charge Health app from our intranet by searching charge health for the QR code, and quickly downloading it.

No usernames or passwords are needed. You can also search for the Charge health app on your device. Then select New Mexico and search San Juan Regional. One of our top reasons that we have selected Charge Health is its association with improved patient satisfaction and how well staff work together to provide care.

Fostering communication and a great staff culture is essential to improving our patient experience. Charge Health Partners with Press Ganey and is designed to build up relationships with and across teams. in Turn improving patient perceptions. Charge health also displays spark sets for national hospital team celebrations.

Such as Pharmacy Week, hospital Week, and more. Look for special opportunities to recognize your departments and coworkers during their special recognition weeks. Charge Health also allows for a quick real-time snapshot of our overall engagement as our caregivers rate their likelihood to recommend other's to work here in the app.

Since we began using Charge Health a few months ago, can you believe 8,291 compliments have been sent? 246 caregivers have participated and 47 departments have been sparked. That is a ton of positivity being spread throughout our hospital and clinics.
