Tune in to learn how participating can shape the future of your workplace! Don't forget, participation opens on March 2 — mark your calendars!
Why You Should Participate in the Total Rewards Survey
Neil Teatsorth: Hello! My name is Neil Teatsorth. I'm the Chief Human Resources Officer for San Juan Regional Medical Center, and I'm here today to talk about the upcoming Total Rewards survey. Starting Monday, March 2nd, caregivers will be invited to participate in a new Total Rewards Survey focused specifically on compensation benefits such as insurance education, time off, as well as well-being. This is not an engagement or what we often call a Press Ganey survey. Instead, this is a unique opportunity for caregivers to share direct input on how compensation, benefits, and rewards are shaped at San Juan Regional Medical Center.
The Total Rewards Survey will be open from Monday, March 2nd through March 16th. It reflects a commitment we made to listen, to be transparent, and to give caregivers a meaningful voice in decisions that impact their work and life. While many organizations do not offer this level of input, we made the decision to do so because we value you and believe your perspective should help inform the future of our Total Rewards Programs.
Our goal is to provide the best possible benefits and pay programs that add value, recognize you for your hard work, and support you at work and at home. In order to make the right investments in our benefits programs and overall compensation wellness and benefits packages, we want to hear what is important to you. This survey is your seat at the table to help shape the future of our compensation benefits in well-being programs.
You may be asking who will receive the Total Reward Survey, all full-time, part-time, and PRN caregivers as well as half-time caregivers hired on or before January 2nd 2026 will be invited to participate. At this time, providers will be excluded from the survey.
In accordance with applicable law, unionized caregivers are not eligible to participate in this survey. This distinction is made out of respect for the National Labor Relations Act and the collective bargaining process for those caregivers. If you are eligible to take the survey, you'll receive an email invitation to participate from Lockton Companies, our survey partner. Again, the survey opens Monday, March 2nd and runs through Monday, March 16th.
My ask of you is please take the time to participate in this important endeavor. Your opinion matters and is critical to this initiative. The data we receive from this survey will directly influence short and long-term decisions about our total benefit strategy that are in the best interest of our people and our organization.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your leader. We will be hosting survey support sessions at the Center for Workforce Excellence Building to help ensure you have the tools you need to share your opinions. Look for more information on the days and times of those support sessions on our employee intranet, SJRMC Connect.
I want to thank you for all you do for our organization, for our patients, and for each other. Let's all plan to complete this survey to help shape the future of your compensation benefits and well-being. We want San Juan Regional Medical Center to be a great place to work, and this survey is one critical step toward achieving that goal.
