Suketu Shah, MD
Dr. Suketu Shah is a board-certified sleep medicine specialist with dual certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine (Sleep Medicine) and the American Board of Sleep Medicine. After completing a six-year combined undergraduate and medical program at Albany Medical College, he trained in Internal Medicine and pursued fellowships in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care in New York. After nearly two decades in private practice, he joined the USF Health Department of Otolaryngology’s Sleep Division in 2024, contributing to multidisciplinary strategies for sleep disorder management and advancing integrated care models to optimize patient outcomes. His clinical expertise includes managing complex sleep disorders such as obstructive and central sleep apnea, particularly in patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions, utilizing advanced therapies beyond standard PAP devices.
