Sam received a degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University. He went on to open several restaurants, and compete on season two of Top Chef, where he became a  “Fan Favorite.” He’s appeared on many TV shows including Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Dr. Oz Show, The Today Show, Rachel Ray and The Real Housewives of New York City. At the age of 12 he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and now serves as a role model to adults and children by applying his “all-natural” style of cooking to every recipe.
