Dr. Pat Walker, Chief Nursing Officer at Spring Valley Hospital, is passionate about healthcare. She thrives on creating a culture of excellence and watching her team grow. She holds a Ph.D. in Nursing and Healthcare Administration, an MBA, MSN-Ed, ANCC board certification in Executive Leadership (NEA-BC), and Lean Six Sigma certification. She attended Nova Southeastern University and Walden University. Dr. Walker is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Alpha Pi, and an AONL member. Her professional journey has led her through many leadership roles, shaping her expertise in executive leadership and cultural transformation.
One of her most notable achievements is reaching the pinnacle of her educational goal of being conferred the Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing and Healthcare Administration. She takes pride in being a model of excellence and inspiring her children. Additionally, Dr. Walker serves as the Chairwoman of the Dr. P.D. Walker Family Foundation, Inc. With gifts and donations, this nonprofit organization supports the community, such as schools, hospitals, and the unhoused.
