Piera Pasinelli is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience, Co-Director of the Weinberg Unit for ALS Research, Co-Director of the Graduate Program in Neuroscience at Thomas Jefferson University and Scientific Director of the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins University. She studied neuro-biochemistry at the University of Utrecht in The Netherlands where she received her PhD, and did her postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University’s Massachusetts General Hospital. Her research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying motor neuron dysfunction and death in ALS.Davide Trotti is a Professor of Neuroscience, Co-Director of the Weinberg Unit for ALS Research.
