Smoothies & More: How to Get the Most Out of Your Blender

From baby food and marinades to flours and nut butters, your blender has the ability to span the breakfast-lunch-dinner-dessert spectrum.
If you have a blender or high-powered "mixer" like a VitaMix, you might use it occasionally for things like smoothies.

But, your blender can do SO much more.

From baby food and marinades to flours and nut butter, your blender has the ability to span the breakfast-lunch-dinner-dessert spectrum.

For example, you can chop leafy greens like kale to prepare a quick and easy kale salad. Or, sneak healthy ingredients into things like tomato pasta sauces or soups, even pancake mix.

One key is to not over-process certain foods. A few pulses usually do the trick.

Finally, blenders today are completely safe and easy to clean.

Join Lisa and Andrea as they welcome Rebecca Miller Ffrench, cookbook author, recipe developer, and lifestyle writer. Ffrench shares quick and easy recipes that you can make entirely in your blender.
