The Affordable Care Act, or ACA, has made important changes to the way health care coverage works for children and families.
According to the ACA, employers with 50-90 full-time employees won't be subjected to penalties for failing to provide health insurance to their employees. However, larger employers may face penalties if they don't make affordable coverage available to their employees.
