The Fight for Wellness: Integrative Cancer Therapy

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide.

In the U.S. alone, over 1.5 million new cases of cancer are diagnosed each year.

With the rising rate of new cases, researchers are coming up with better treatments.

Jeff Sirlin, one of the founders of Cancer Wellness TV, launched his site in hopes that it would help those with cancer maintain wellness and get their life back.

Cancer Wellness TV provides options for a powerful complement to traditional cancer therapies.

Jeff joins Dr. Roizen to discuss his personal battle with cancer and an integrative approach to cancer treatment. He touches on how to maintain wellness through the mind and body with deep breathing, Tai Chi, yoga, and nutrition.

image1Jeff Sirlin is a two-time cancer survivor and a lifelong entrepreneur. He came up with the Cancer Wellness TV concept while recovering from his latest bout with colon cancer in 2013. His life is now dedicated to wellness: both in his own recovery and helping others discover their own path to recovery.

It is his mission to see that every cancer patient, survivor, caregiver, and health professional has free access to complementary cancer therapies and information. “I know first-hand how these therapies can make a difference in one’s life. The fact that most people don’t have free access to these services, in my opinion, is not right. I created Cancer Wellness TV to break down these barriers and make a real difference in the fight against cancer.”

Prior to Cancer Wellness TV, Jeff was the founder and president of School-fundraisers.com and various entrepreneurial endeavors. Jeff also writes for the Huffington Post and for health-related websites, covering cancer, wellness, fatherhood, and business-related issues.
