It happens to most people at some point in life, and it may resolve on its own. If you're going more than three days without pooping, you're probably constipated.
Constipation can come from changes in your life and diet:
- Travel
- Not enough water
- Not enough fiber
- Stress
- Pregnancy
- Eating a lot of dairy
- Consuming calcium-based antacids
- Certain medications
- Not enough activity
