Vora, M.D., For more than three decades, Dr. Vora has been a fixture at City of Hope, where she serves as a Clinical Professor, and Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Vora is a nationally recognized authority on brachytherapy, which uses radioactive “seeds” to target tumors. In addition to her work on breast cancer, she helped develop the City of Hope Prostate Seed Program for localized prostate cancer.Dr. Vora has authored over 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals and delivered dozens of abstracts and presentations.
