- What lit your spark and passion for preventative medicine and being one of our foremost educators for healthy aging? I was in the Air Force as a flight surgeon, and my job was to keep the crew healthy and at their best. That is preventative medicine, and that lit my spark. Most of our aging and disease is preventable with attention to lifestyle.
- What’s your definition of a life well lived? That has to be defined by each individual, but finding meaning in purpose that is critical and using what we’ve learned to make the world a better place.
- Dr. Landry, you’re in your early 70s now. Can you share with us your goals and plans to lead a fulfilling life in your 70s, 80s and 90s? Retirement is not even in my head, my goal is to continue to learn and continue to share my experience and at home to be memorable to my children and grandchildren.
