Many people have a fear of embarking on leading a more organic lifestyle. As guest Kyyeetha (Ky) Archinard put it, the response is typically something like, "So now I guess we're just going to eat grass."
But, it doesn't have to be as rough of a road as you might imagine.
Sometimes, it just takes one thing to get you on the path to healthier eating.
Ky has dedicated her time to educating and coaching people on approaching this transition. Taking clients on a field trip through their pantries has helped to transform so many lives. "Healing begins with nature" became the slogan for one of her companies because that is what she believes.
Listen as Ky joins Lisa Davis to share her journey to healthier living, the motivations that encouraged her to "gut and rebuild" her pantry, and how she and her family are benefiting from that decision.

Guest Bio:
Kyyeetha Archinard is the name given to her by her father. Ky is the name given to her by her mother. She is everything that she loves. A wife, a mother of four, the creator and operator of two business, and a children's book author. Despite graduating with a degree in Biology from Fairleigh Dickenson University, she knew her path was to take over the family church. Kyyeetha was ordained to the Ministry at 14 and kicked out of the church at 25 for being gay. Forced to change paths her life went on a roller coaster ride in many different directions.
Her businesses were born out of necessity. After her wife was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and her twins with autism, she knew she needed to make some changes. After she had thrown away and gave away everything in the family pantry, the jagged road toward organic living began. Educating and coaching people on approaching this transition became a mission. Taking clients on a field trip through their own pantry has helped to transform so many lives. ‘Healing begins with nature’ became the slogan for one of her companies because that is what she believes. Cooking clean also meant that the herbs and spices they used would have to clean up as well. It took Kyyeetha a year to create the spice combinations she began selling five years later. Combining herbs and spices that not only taste great but heals the body was a goal.
Learning and growing with two children on the spectrum encouraged her to write stories for them. She found it hard to find books that helped them connect emotionally with situations past and present. Her first story was specifically written for her son. After realizing how much the stories were helping her twins develop emotionally, she decided to publish them, hoping to help other families. Three more books are currently being self-published. A Rainy Day At The Zoo, The Girl With The Yellow Bow, an Untitled Gymnastics Story. All based on truth stories.
